The following photos were submitted to me on October 18th of 2005, by Vicki Lakomecki of South Elgin, Illinois. The first picture was taken from the west parking lot of Rico D's Restaurant (now The Stag's Head Pub.) The intended subject of the photo was the Willowbrook Ballroom, just across the street, but as you can see, she caught something else. Some dismiss this as smoke, but others have pointed to a humanlike form within the vapors, reaching toward the camera. Some claim to see a face, dead center of the left-hand side of the image. This is a compelling photograph; the more one studies it, the more one sees.

Your Stories: What did you see on Haunted Archer Avenue?
|
This page is reserved for your submissions. Stories, photographs, even short videos can be seen here. If you followed the virtual guidance of Haunted Archer Avenue, and saw something you couldn't explain, send it to archerinfo@reapermadness.net with all haste!
As always with Reaper Madness, we refrain from suggesting images, objects or shapes these anomalies can take on, preferring to leave such speculations to the viewer. But we will promise you that anything seen here will be unadulterated. We provide only the genuine articles as supplied by you, free of enhancements, suggestions or guesswork.
This next photo was taken at the gate of Mount Glenwood (formerly known as Archer Woods Cemetery.) Again, the fog at the top of the picture was not present at the time the photo was taken.

Cavelone's Pizzeria (Irish Lgend Pub) Taken October, 2001
The following orb photo was taken in the basement of The Irish Legend pub back when it was known as Cavelone’s Pizzeria. This photo was taken by the production assistant of former Chicago radio host Kevin Matthews during an event that was less an investigation and more of an involuntary lock-in. The production assistant, known lovingly as Lumpy, reported hearing footsteps, women’s laughter, and a host of strange and unnerving “little things” that added up to a night of absolute terror for him and the two others locked in with him. Many believers in the paranormal believe that orbs are sometime indicative of spirit activity, despite the contrary opinions of many professional photographers. Orbs can be attributed to several ordinary causes, such as dust, pollen, insects, water vapor, water droplets or simply dirty lenses. Again, presented for your assessment, here it is:

SACRED HEART, Submitted April 15th, 2007
The following photos were submitted by Bobby Scumaci (Velocity LLC) on April 15th, during an early evening visit to Sacred Heart: (The red arrows were added to make the anomaly easier to find, and are not the actual anomalies...)

August Boness
This was not a submission, but rather taken by a member of the Reaper Madness staff during a fact-finding mission in 2008, at an apartment complex on the Reaper Madness Road tour of Haunted Archer Avenue. There were three witnesses who will attest that when this picture was taken, there was no one on the stairs. There were no dummies, decorations, garden tools, hanging plants, barbeque grilles or any other type of furnishing, decoration, or other objects that would help explain the anomalous images in this photograph.

More to follow, so come back often!
